I'm nearly halfway through my internship at kaffie, and it's been an absolutely thrilling ride so far! I'm excited to share one of my recent breakthroughs with you all.
You know the drill—those endless repetitions during the onboarding of new clients, which can be such a time-consuming task. For us, it meant setting up projects with tasks in Nifty (our project management platform) and then replicating the same structure in Clockify (our time management platform). Manually. 🙄
But, how did I tackle this? With n8n, of course! n8n is an awesome automation platform that allows us to build workflows between different apps and services without writing a single line of code (in this case, no 🥲).
The benefits for kaffie
Imagine this:
Kaffie now has four employees, each earning €55 per hour, responsible for sales, including setting up client files.
With the current method:
With just one client, we're overusing valuable time by 80 hours per year, resulting in a loss of €4,400. Doubling the number of clients to two, this escalates to 160 hours and €8,800. With four clients, we reach a staggering 320 hours of overused work time and €17,600 in lost revenue.

With automation:
For me, this took 18 hours of work (learning about n8n, developing, and implementing), but for Kaffie, it means their entire onboarding process now takes 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 3 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒕𝒆𝒔.
This is just one example of how n8n streamlines our processes and saves precious time at Kaffie. I'm looking forward to sharing more successes as we continue to innovate. 🚀
